Catching up with Laura McCabe

Last Saturday we went to see our talented and famous friend Laura McCabe.

LauraMcCabe2 — Seeing a friend after a few years brings back memories of good old times……. Laura, despite the fact that she has become famous, has not changed at all still the same … nice, accessible and inspiring.

As we all know Laura has been very difficult to catch in the past two years, so we jumped on the opportunity to see her at Turquoise, a local bead store owned by our friend Nancy. Laura has been busy traveling around the world growing her business, teaching and designing. She has just completed and publish a new book “Embelished Beadweaving”. We all hope that after years of extensive traveling Laura will settle a little bit and we’ll be able to see her more.
