Hi Everyone, Leah here with another project from Eureka Crystal Beads! Today I’m going to show you how to make my Dutchess Bracelet design! It’s a fast bracelet that will sparkle and shimmer on your wrist – perfect for an afternoon lunch date or a night out on the town. Let’s jump right in!
Materials:
- (3) 12mm Swarovski Crystal Rivoli Stones (I used Golden Shadow)
- (2) 10mm Swarovski Crystal Rivolis Stones (Also, Golden Shadow)
- (10) 4mm Swarovski Crystal Bicone Beads (I used Blush Rose)
- (4) 3mm Swarovski Crystal Bicone Beads (I used Amethyst)
- (4) DiamonDuo 2-hole Czech Glass Beads (I used Purple Velvet Pearl)
- (64) Japanese Size 11 Seed Beads (I used Miyuki Gold Galvanized #1052)
- (28 inches) of Soft Flex Satin Silver “Fine” Beading Wire .014 / 21 Strand
- (2) 10mm Gold-Plated Sew-on Round Rivoli Settings
- (3) 12mm Gold-Plated Sew-on Round Rivoli Settings
- (1) 2-Strand Gold-Plated Tube Bar Clasp
- (4) 2x2mm Gold-Plated Crimp Tubes
- TOOLS: Crimping Pliers, Flex Wire Cutters, Chain Nose Pliers
** NOTE ** The quantities listed above will make a 7.5″ bracelet.
First, take each of your 6 Swarovski Crystal Rivoli Stones (2 in 10mm and 3 in 12mm) and sit them inside their corresponding sew-on settings. Use your chain nose pliers to gently fold down the prongs to secure your crystals in place. To keep your stones centered and sitting properly in their settings, start by folding down the first prong and then move to the prong directly across from that one. (Then finish the last 2 prongs)
Cut your Soft Flex beading wire into 2 pieces, each approximately 14″ in length. Using your 2x2mm tube crimps and your Crimping Pliers, attach both piece of Soft Flex to the 2 loops on one side of your clasp. If you don’t know how to Crimp, please check out my quick tutorial: “Back to the Basics: Crimping!” blog. You’ll have to now trim off your tails of wire since they won’t fit through the next beads we’ll be using, so crimp slowly and carefully to ensure good technique! 🙂

End up picking up the same beads to mimic the beginning of the bracelet: (1) 3mm Crystal Bicone, (1) seed bead – and then also (1) 2x2mm Crimp Tube onto each wire.
Feed both wires through the loops of your Tube Bar Clasp and back through the crimp beads and pull each strand tight (in the direction towards your bracelet). CRIMP the crimp tubes with your Crimping Pliers and snip off your tails! ALL DONE!!
Hope you love making your Dutchess Bracelet! There are so many stunning color combinations you could do!
Until next time Bead-Friends!
