Enhance Your Beading with Winter Color Inspiration!

Winter Greetings, Beading Friends! I don’t know about you and where you live, but here in Little Rhody (Rhode Island, USA) temperatures are dipping pretty low so I’m having to keep my beady fingers moving to stay warm! (What a predicament! Oh no – more beading!!!) Hopefully, no matter where you’re located, you’re keeping warm and getting to bead up a storm. Today’s blog is to help inspire your winter bead selections, and don’t we all need a little inspiration now and then? Check out how I’m getting inspired below!

winterwoods

This lovely winter landscape features the typical icey-blue tones of winter, but the addition of pale golden yellow is definitely what makes this feel out-of-the-box for me!

wintergreys

This cool blue-grey landscape is perhaps a little more typical in our minds of icey winter colors. That fact, however, doesn’t make it any less stunning – especially when the stunning sparkle of Swarovski Crystal subtly brightens things up!

The soft pale blues and powdery pinks are a lovely addition to any winter color palette. I’m a fan, particularly, of the pinks – which are quietly unexpected when you remove them from a Spring palette and include them with ice and snow!

The deep teals and blues of this last winter-scape are sure to make you feel the same calm serenity of a frozen mountain stream – in solitude with the quietness of nature! I hope you like the bead colors I’ve selected to match it!
