Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am going to teach you a tip that can help make your loops on memory wire easy. I don’t know about you but, I hate when I am trying to make a loop on memory wire and the pliers keep flying off the wire and it doesn’t make the loop. I have broken some fingernails this way.

Memory wire is a very hard and tempered wire.  It is this way so that it will keep it’s circular shape and will be more bangle like.  One of the nice things about memory wire is that it makes a very quick project.  And who doesn’t love quick projects.  I know I do.  Another positive about memory wire is that you can make it as big as you want by deciding how many loops you want to go around your wrist.  Once you have that decided and cut, then you can move to the next step which happens to be my tip.

You will take the end of the memory wire on one side and place the round nose plier on the very edge of the wire.  The key is to have the wire further inside the pliers but not too far in.  Now you are going to make a loop but, you want to make it in the direction that the memory wire coils.  If you go against it, that is when you have a really hard time making the loop.  Now, your pliers still might slip a tiny bit occasionally but, it will be nothing like it was.  This tip will help you to make loops easier.  You can find the memory wire and beads at our website Eureka Crystal Beads to make a beautiful quick memory wire bracelet.  Try it out, and let me know how you like it.  We always love comments.  Until next time, bead your heart out!
